Rules Changes and Adaptations

This page has two sections, PROPOSED and ACCEPTED.  Once most folks have OK'ed a rule change, it will become a house rule for the group.

PROPOSED - Ancestral Relic

CURRENTLY

****************************************

This feat currently requires a good alignment.

PROPOSED

****************************************

Remove the alignment restriction.

PROPOSED - Exalted Feat Change

CURRENTLY

****************************************

Most Exalted classes require one of the following feats: "Knight of the Stars", "Favored of the Companions", or "Servant of Heavens".  These RP feats give a +1 luck bonus to any roll 1/day.

PROPOSED

****************************************

Replace these feats with "True Believer".  A True Believer can use his/her deities artifacts.  Also, once per day, he/she  gains a +2 bonus to any saving throw.

ACCEPTED - Skills Change

CURRENTLY

*****************************************

Each class gets a certain number of skills each level.

 PROPOSED

****************************************

See Link

ACCEPTED - Toughness

PREVIOUSLY

****************************************

Some classes require Toughness, or give Toughness as a bonus feat.

 UPDATED

****************************************

Replace this requirement/bonus with Improved Toughness.

ACCEPTED - Elven Racial Weapons

PREVIOUSLY

****************************************

Unlike most base races, elves do not have weapon familiarity with any of the Elf named weapons. Examples of this are Weapon Familiarity: Dwarven Waraxes and Dwarven Urgroshes for Dwarves, and Weapon Familiarity: Gnome Hooked Hammers for Gnomes.

 UPDATED

****************************************

Elves now have a new racial ability: Weapon Familiarity: Elves may treat  elven lightblades, elven thinblades, and elven courtblades (See Chapter 7: Equipment and Magic, in the Races of Wild) as martial weapons, rather than exotic weapons.

ACCEPTED - New Feat: Chain Fighter

Prerequisites: Proficiency with Spiked Chain

Benefit: As a Swift Action, you can switch between using a chain as a reach weapon and using it as a double weapon. When the chain is used as a double weapon, it has the following changes:
Reach: 5' (melee)
Damage: 2d4/2d4
The off-hand attack is considered to be made with a light weapon for the purposes of Two-Weapon Fighting penalties.

Normal: The Spiked Chain cannot be used as a double weapon.
