I noticed the bit about ToB classes not being able to gestalt with warrior.  Might I suggest removing ALL gestalt from them?  The only class thjat would gestalt with warrior is swordsage.

I had considered it. Im not sure if either the other two classes give any benefits, but I figured I would just leave it out there.

Edit: Ah! I honestly didnt know that Crusader and Warblade were already full BaB classes! Therefore, I rescind that change, and allow gestalting as normal.

As a final note...Can the "Aristocrat" class be renamed "Merchant"?  There is an NPC "Noble" class in the Dragonlance book, and I will post the information for it here tonight.

Maybe. And maybe the "Noble" will be included as well. I will consider this nonsense :P

I want to be in the campaign but I understand that slots are limited.

May I play a renegade spellcaster? (If you say "no" then I will gladly roll a non-magical character per the campaign rules.)

Ummm maybe. My itention had be to not allow players access to casters, to keep the power level in the party balanced, but I am not entirely against the idea. I will think about it a bit, and get back to you.

I rescind my request. It smacks of favoritism and I'll be happy playing a martial character anyway.

Well, if you want, I dont mind. The campaign initially was going to be played with one member being a Maji, one a Templar assigned to watch that particular Maji, and then the rest of the party could do what they wanted. If someone is willing to be your Templar, than I am willing to let you be the Maji.

Also, for everyone to note, not to confuse everybody too badly, but the Maji campaign is going to be renamed to the World of Altara. I wanted something that stood out a little more compared to Mist.

Will you allow flaws during character construction?

With the modifications to the Ninja class, is it still considered T5, or have we made a strong T4?

Ooooo, well in that case I would like to be the Maji. If someone else wants to then we can roll for the right to play it, or something.

Given the setting, it's reasonable for some players to dislike the Maji. It can't be pure destructive animosity, but superstition, distrust, and personal refusal to be "tainted" by magic are all fair play. My character would have to earn the trust of those who don't like him--including fellow players--which could take multiple sessions. Of course we want to avoid lengthy fights and arguments (even in character) because it detracts from in-game achievements, but I think we're good enough players to do that. If you're my templar that adds a whole new dynamic.

I am considering Wizard->Archmage due to the general distrust of magic. (I don't want to be a healbot if people don't want to be healed, lol.)

ooo thats the other thing. The class that is the caster is not from the D&D books. There is a single caster class, with 1 (maybe more, not sure yet) PRC's to add on. Its the caster from the Wheel of Time books. I will post it in the very near future.

Also, I would love some small amout of inter-party strife (I am actually expeting it, whether someone plays a Maji or not). What I want, though, is a group who can work with in game arguing (which is why I'm keeping the player count low).

@ Paladin: not sure about flaws yet. Ill decide that later. As for ninja, I think its close enough to Rogues now to be considered T4
