So after some careful thought, I managed to indentify the followng mechanics:

Spont/Prep Arcane Casting
Spont/Prep Divine Casting
Psionic Casting
Familiar/Mount/Animal Companion
Rage/Smite/Lay on Hands/Turn Undead
Warlock Invocations
Bardic Music
Monk Abilities

The above progressions all have many PrC's with several options available for multiclassing, or option uses of the powers.  M ost of these are a lot of fun to play.

Manuver Initiation
Soulmelding
Shadowcasting
Binding
Truenaming
Soulblade
Marshal Auras

These 7 level dependant mechanics have extremely limited multiclassing.  FOr many folks, this is not a big deal.  For myself, it's tough, since I like "gish" type characters, or the multitasker.

For Example:  Want to souldmeld and cast cleric spells?  Better be Lawful.
Want to cast wizard spells and use manuvers?  Can't be evil
Want to cast cleric spells and use manuvers? Must worship Wee Jas
Want to combine marchal auras with anything?  Tough shit

The point I'm making is that several of these mechanics are older mechanics that were never really developed.  The others are newer mechanics that are super liomited in thier multiclassing.  I may just be bitching, but I'd like to discuss some leeway in multiclassing these mechanics.  Anyone up for that discussion?

I feel like I say this a lot, but that sounds like a lot of work.

That being said, as a DM, I have no problems allowing a little leeway in multiclassing/prc requirements. i would rather not go through the process of making new classes or reworking many PRC's, but I am down for a little allowance.

That being said, I dont think I will ever really play any of the 7 level dependent mechanics (well, maybe 1, but w/e)

Fair enough, I'm not thinking so much of making new classes so much as making certain allowances.  I'd like to think that we can also add martial powers using the standard format (1 power every even level, stance at 4th and 8th, and lose 2 levels of other level dependant) for Com. War. Classes.
