Z-

I dug more into the smite rules, and I cannot honestly find any fault with applying ranged smite to other smite attacks beyond "Smite Evil".  Smite is (mostly) a highly limited attack in terms of who it affects.  There are certainly tricks to get a ton of smites, but that can be applied to any smite (think smite evil, smite taint, smite non-nature, smite good, smite chaos, smite law, smite opposed, etc.).  Running a high CHA character could be potentially lethal...when facing these sorts of opponents.

So over all:  Ranged Smite can be applied to any smite with minimal impact to game play.  I'm still mulling over if you'd have to take a different feat for each different type of smite, but I'm leaning towards "no".

The Killoren race is one that has really caught my attention since i've gotten back to focusing on rp and character story. they have a racial smite ability that i feel could synergize very well in a mid to low power guardian themed character. i look forward to looking into smite further.
