I suggest that Dave's 3.5 adaptation of Night Below be given it's own thread because it's a persistent campaign, not a true PUG. (Of course Dave may disagree but it does have its own "Campaigns" page up top, and I like persistent stories a lot more than PUGs so the distinction matters to me). The main reason for this post is that my other gaming group is running a board game event on Saturday. If we're going to do Mist, Legacy, or Night Below then I want to play with you guys. If we're doing a conventional, single session PUG game then I want to play with them instead. Of course I like playing with all of you, but one-shot stories are a lot less fun for me, so I'd rather do other stuff. Let me know either way.

^As established, this event is a PUG, but I'd rather bump this thread than make a new one. After reading about Habakuk (the Dragonlance god), I've come to agree with Dave's suggestion that it is a better diety than Ehlonna, for my paladin Irene. This is from wikipedia: Habbakuk, also known as The Fisher King, Skylord, and the Blue Phoenix, represents the godly power of persistence. He believes in the perseverance of the soul and its opposition to adversity for the greater goal. Habbakuk's interests are generally directed at animals of all kinds. He is the patron of rangers, hunters, and the natural cycle of life and death, abhorring things like undead. He also represents loyalty and obedience to the whole. He promotes persistence of truths that promote good. He has a strong presence in the world through patronage of good druids and rangers. Sailors and explorers also honor him, as he is sometimes called the god of the sea. In times of war and crisis he directs his efforts towards the renewal of life. His closest ally is Branchala and is also close with Mishakal, Paladine, and Kiri-Jolith. He is closest to Chislev and Sirrion among the Gods of Neutrality for their roles in nature. He opposes Chemosh and Zeboim for their interference in the cycle of life. His celestial symbol is the constellation Phoenix. So, yeah, I prefer this to the Ehlonna wilderness lady. The "perseverence of the soul" clause fits Irene's ethos perfectly. I'd like to change my diety to Habakuk if that's cool.

Done. I'll have ytou change your sheet when next we meet. Reasons for Night Below being PUG: 1) I allow PUG like changes to builds. 2) We can run it with whoever is there. 3) As we progress into caves/dungeons, it will seem very "One shot with a deeper goal in mind", which was the intention of the original PUG. Currently, Night Below is the only active PUG.
