From the Dragon Disciple page:

Blood of Dragons: A dragon disciple adds his level to his sorcerer levels when determining the powers gained from his bloodline. If the dragon disciple does not have levels of sorcerer, he instead gains bloodline powers of the draconic bloodline, using his dragon disciple level as his sorcerer level to determine the bonuses gained. He must choose a dragon type upon gaining his first level in this class and that type must be the same as his sorcerer type. This ability does not grant bonus spells to a sorcerer unless he possesses spell slots of an appropriate level. Such bonus spells are automatically granted if the sorcerer gains spell slots of the spell's level.

From the Sorcerer Page:

Bloodline: Each sorcerer has a source of magic somewhere in her heritage that grants her spells, bonus feats, an additional class skill, and other special abilities. This source can represent a blood relation or an extreme event involving a creature somewhere in the family's past. For example, a sorcerer might have a dragon as a distant relative or her grandfather might have signed a terrible contract with a devil. Regardless of the source, this influence manifests in a number of ways as the sorcerer gains levels. A sorcerer must pick one bloodline upon taking her first level of sorcerer. Once made, this choice cannot be changed.

At 3rd level, and every two levels thereafter, a sorcerer learns an additional spell, derived from her bloodline. These spells are in addition to the number of spells given on Table: Sorcerer Spells Known. These spells cannot be exchanged for different spells at higher levels.

At 7th level, and every six levels thereafter, a sorcerer receives one bonus feat, chosen from a list specific to each bloodline. The sorcerer must meet the prerequisites for these bonus feats.

As I read this, every bloodline ability (including feats) get acquired.  Dragon disciple gets ADDITIONAL bloodline feats at 2nd and every 3 thereafter.  He also gets bloodline feats when his sorc level (sorc + DD levels) is 7, 13, and 19.

I.e.:  10 Level DD gets 3 feats from DD progresssion, and 1 feat from sorc progresstion to bloodline level 7 for 4 total feats.

Level 3 sorc + Level 10 DD gets 3 from DD progression and 2 feats from sorc progresstion to bloodline level 13 for 5 total feats.

Level 9 sorc + level 10 DD gets 3 from DD progression and 3 feats from sorc progresstion to bloodline level 19 for 6 total feats.

I've read some forum discussions, and the counter to these "extra feats" is that feats are explicit in the table.  To counter this, spells are explicit in the table, and they count for the bloodline powers.

I know I'm not actively playing a DD, but I have a lot of interest in this class, so anyone weighing in would be appreciated.  IF/when I do make a dragon, I want to be sure of what I am designing :)

"A dragon disciple adds his level to his sorcerer levels when determining the powers gained from his bloodline."

One of the many reasons why Pathfinder technical writing is so shitty is that the authors repeatedly swap technical terms with colloquial synonyms as if they're writing a fucking novel.  I think it is implausible that "powers gained from his bloodline" means "every Bloodline benefit."  I think it is more likely that "powers gained from his blood line" means the narrowly defined "Bloodline powers" in this link.  http://paizo.com/prd/classes/sorcerer.html#_draconic

So, no, I don't think that "powers gained from the bloodline" means everything under the heading "Draconic".  I think it means the narrowly defined Bloodline Powers.

EDIT:

However, these people at reddit seem to agree with you.  http://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/10u828/help_with_dragon_disciple_prestige_class_in/

For the build I'm imagining, it's the difference of 1 freakin' feat...that said:

1) LOL @ shitty tech writing.

2) My vote is for the extra feat, but if outvoted, I'm not going to lose any sleep ;-)

After rereading the "Blood of Dragons" ability, I now agree that "Blood of Dragons" grants all special abilites of the bloodline--not just the narrorly defined Bloodline Powers.  This the opposite of my previous position, but we can put it to a vote.

With my limited understanding of the class (i have never, 3.5 included, really looked at it) i see no problem with allowing all special abilities of the bloodline.

OR! maybe put some caviat in that it only continues the bloodline for all special abilities IF and ONLY IF the bloodline is draconic?

...interesting...
